CDNTs provide specialized clinical supports (Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Psychology) for children aged 0–18 with complex developmental needs in Ireland under Progressing Disability Services (PDS).
Under Section 8 of the Disability Act 2005, every child in Ireland has a statutory right to an independent Assessment of Need (AON) within 3 months of application.
